Just found out my condenser is leaking. My local garage quoted just over £400.00 to fit a new one and gas it back up. They said there was no after market for a condenser for my year and it was a Nissan only part and the condenser from Nissan is £320. I just came across this site http://www.uadweb.com/acatalog/Product_Range_NISSAN_6607.html
and it looks like the same as what I have. It has pipe conections either side and is only £159:80 inc vat
The product code on the site is UADDN9213 just scroll to bottom of page.
The orginal Nissan part number is
OEM No 92110-7F700 . Can't find a part No on mine.
Model 1996-ONWARDS
Suitable for
N 16 Model 2000- onwards
Fits All Models
Dont Fit Tino Model
Wondered if any of you would know if this would be the one to fit my truck a 2003 LWB 2.7 S TDI
Any help appreciated

Have sorced another Condenser for £98.00 plus vat from a place called Allmakes of Atherstone Tel No 01827 7172721. Lot cheaper than Nissan at £339

Could anyone tell me how to remove the Condenser out of the truck
Do you have to remove the Radiator out first ?

Gave AUTOKOOL a ring they got one and quoted me £250 fitted, not bad concidering Nissan charge £339.58 inc vat just for the condenser and then I bet another £200 to fit it.

Condensor

Got mine from Autokool 18 months ago. For £185. Fitted it myself. then cost me £70 for a regas. its been fine.

pig of a job tho, bit tight getting old one out and new one in, but done it in the end took me about 3 hrs.

Condensor

didnt have to remove rad, but had to remove hoses for better access. also had remove front grille (obviously!!!) and loosen headlights if i remember correctly.

Watch the ally pipes for the air con as they are a little flimsy and the connecting nuts can be a little tight. dont rely on the pipes to withstand the force you apply to the nuts with the spanner, you may twist the pipes and split them.

Jusy had my AC re-gassed at Kwik Fit for £45, now she's down to 6c from the centre vents
They handed me the bill in a leaflet with a voucher on the back for 20% off AC Re-gassing

hi mate,

can you tell me a bit more about this stuff, i feel i might have a leak somewhere, as i have just had aircon recharged, a year since last one, thought normally a job done say every two years. with this pro-sealer do you just add it to the system and it hunts out any leaks?

Removing condensor

HI soz if this is to late.remove front grill then drilled out the 4 spot welds above bonnet catch, removed bolt at bottom two studs out two pipes disconected out new back in start to finish 50 mins

Same prob

Anyone no if them there rads can be repaired As i have had the cooling rads repaired over the years so can you not have the con rad fixed in the same way I have had a stone through mine :doh And do you no if all the rads are the same on all air con models Ie from a S reg to a 55 plate they look the same

I also drilled out the spot welds for the slam panel support, then remove the single bolt at the bottom, lift it out of the way, bonnet catch still on it. then reach the 3 fan bolts through the slots in the bumper with an extra long extension.

2 more bolts and the condensor will lift out.

Be *very* careful with the alloy pipes, they often strip threads, so you may need a pipe as well!

Condensors are all the same on the 2.7's. Not sure about the 3.0, but probably is the same again.
