air con radiator

Is it possible to just remove the air con radiator and leave it out?

I assume you'd need to block off the pipes, so would also have to remove or disable the pump.....not sure if the belt drives anything else...?

Done it on several Scoobs for every bit of power & weight saving :sly:naughty

Just loosen 1 pipe in a open area & stay away till its drained,15 minutes should be enough :thumb2

Remove your rad & as said above,then seal the pipes :thumb2

I take it that its for the off road toy :naughty :nenau

If so then remove the hole lot :sly :thumbs

well, thinking about using my blue one and getting a newer MK3/MK4 for road use. Only thing is this how I blew my Jeep as air con rad gets in way of cleaning the normal rad.

Just take the rad out & seal the pipes with copper caps,silicone & tape :thumbs
Everything else leave alone :thumbs

oooooh you naughty boy you didn't recover the aircon gas, no wonder the enviroment is knackered

i dunno, as long as you don't push the air con button then the pump is ok left in ain't it?
