So he will now be back after his holiday :thumbs

So i'm now looking for another bargin :augie

Are you sure the swb is road legal ?

there are some bits that stand out as definite reasons for a pull, apart from the number plates . back wheels showing too much from the back and sides, even the space between the ground and bumper's (the running over points) actually have laws attached to them . christ if they wanted they can even measure the gap between the wheels and arches , they have max openings so limbs cant find there way in ....

i like the no back bumper idea, but you will need one adz, or they will take it off you like they did pete's . recon you could get a good look with bumper trimmed a lot...

dont forget, yes you might get away with stuff, but if you have an accident they will pick on everything. or you might get some really anal copper one day who's just having a crap day.... it does happen and they will take it off you.... but you know the risks

Yes thank-you
Feel free to pull me over

Couldnt be arsed tbh ;) but looking at the front view I have mixed feelings on your confidence, honestly no bullshit. Thing is if you look at the two of them side by side and consider one of the many uses of mudguards these days and that is to deflect anyone unfortunate enough to be struck by your car. Yours would probably pull them in. Now I know it would come down to measurements but on the basis of what Ive just said there an expert witness does not need statut back up if in their qualified opinion..............

see what I mean ?

Understand & thankful for your views :thumbs
As Colin said, ignore the plates :augie :lol
When it went for its straight MOT @ a very strict garage in Chelmsford, there was an MOT inspector / examiner there & my 4x4 was the prime target :doh I thought great  a straight fail :(
But after a quick adjustment to the hand brake & standard plate over the rear, it passed  :D
I even quizzed the tester & examiner & they said as far as an MOT its 100% ok :D :clap

But

As you have both pointed out & i know (common sense) as far as an accident, they would rip it apart...

As said recently though, this is going to be a road legal off roader & will only go on the road locally to 2 pay'n'play sites :sly :naughty :D

Hence buying a LWB :thumbs

Thanks Chaps n now watch this space for hopefully my next KEEPS LWB :augie HANDS OFF PHIL :lol

there both very nice looking trucks mate i hope mine will be a best after its done lol :D and love the name dirty frog :thumb2:thumb2
