i have been on the phone to a chap in surry trying to buy a secondhand brake load sensor for my trol, the chap was nice enough and told me how to get my trol running better. he did say it will only be a slight improvment as it will never be fast ( dont want fast anyway)

he said to

losen the erg valve and slide a blanking plate under neath then tighten back up

remove the breather from the air box and block the hole reruting the breather elsewere

clean the pipes from the intercooler as the get oil in them (sometimes)

remove the butterfly from the back of the intercooler

now then what i want to know is bt doing any of the above is it going to cost me? i dont want nothing to were out earlier than it should nor do i want less mpg as im struggling to keep it on the road as it is

1 more thing £296+VAT FOR A LOAD SENSOR........NISSAN ONLY:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

thanks larson

some of that is what I need to do to mine. as far as i know, it shouldnt affect the car in a negative way int the future, as essentially you are just removing the egr with a few of those steps (blank egr and remove intercooler butterfly)

Blocking the EGR in a 2.8 will not cause any problem and it will stop the dirty exhaust gases recycling (EGR) from sooting up the intake. Buy a new EGR gasket and make a template from it.

Look here, its in french but just get google to translate.
