the last couple of days the windscreen on sheilas discovery , and the front of it have been absolutely covered in splattered bugs , theres loads of little green things flying about , anyway , she has some windscreen cleaner in at the mo ( decosol all seasons ) and all it does is smudge the windscreen and spread the bugs further , has anyone any suggestions on products etc to help with this problem ?

much appreciated

pete

wibscreen splatter

The larger the splatter the faster the Disco is going.

Walking pace should solve the problem as no death on impact.

A surprisingly good product that came in a gift pack a while back was a bottle of autoglym fly splat remover, spray on wash off and it does work.

No idea how much it is, probably something stupid.

thanks mate , will look into it :thumb2

I use my kids, it's simple just sit back and relax whilst they do the washing:thumbs

Trouble is it can be quite costly:doh

Jim

my kids have grown up jim .... the youngest is 27 lol.....so even more expensive :lol

weird, but I expect hot water will do the trick Pete, mixed in with some washing up liquid maybe...!

no kawa , they are sorta normal ones i think , the screenwash screen stuff cleans the screen but leaves big smear marks where the bugs have been , had new blades in too ( in feb ) , its a bit of a pain having to stopk , and get out to clean the screen if the screenwash doesnt work , maybe there is a pre treatment or something to stop the smudge marks ? :nenau

i was hoping it was going to be the flat blades lol, ive got some of that miracle dry wash stuff im going to give that a try i ll let you know if it does anything
