We've been offered a 2 yr old 42" philips lcd hdtv

"make us an offer....we're looking for £250"

is that good?

need to know because if it is we're off in half an hour to get it :thumb2

thanks

lcd is good from straight on... at an angle it goes darker or lighter.... same as your monitor for pc ...... assuming you got lcd screen

other than that seems ok

thanks col, I just dont want to get stiffed if its a crap model and as Aegos have same size on offer at £400

As you may guess I know bot all about them :augie

We have the same size lcd in the living room, with no probs where ever we sit to watch it.

We purchased a Hitachi 42” LCD, free view, full HD1080p for £480 earlier this year cracking telly and no probs viewing in our front room.

I would think being 2 years old it would only be HD ready 720p, if so, may be worth saving a few moor penny’s and buying a new full HD in the sales.

why are they flogging it???

sstevr

Theyre selling their pub and having a top clear out.

Just got home with it and some other bits and pieces £250 (and had a quick pint)

The tele is less than 18 month old 43'' diag viewing area and a bloody great pic.

Over the moon :thumb2

thanks for the info I've just had a crash course in flat screen tv's :lol:lol:lol

Whoohoo.....i think for once we may have got a bargain :lol

A list I've found in a 2008 what tv mag gives it a brill write up but I'm still struggling on some of the terms.

What is an HD xxx p jeremy?:confused::bow

Ours seems to have lots of high numbers on its spec......... lol
