I lived in Acton at the time riding a 650 Thunderbird, this was in the early 60s and I remember a police car being rolled over by some of the more unruly lot, jaggeds on the knees described those that had touch knees to the ground on the roundabout just up the road, not me tho as side steps would have hit first, kicking you off, fun memories, Rick

Nope, when you pass under the bridge and do a left up the little slope it is actually a Royal Mail depo now. Along with care home worker training and something to do with railways too I believe :thumb2

That's the place, it a great venue for petrol/diesel oh and veg heads :lol

They have loads of photos of the old days of rockers and bikers, there is a display of some old Brit bikes too.
I'm up for a meet there, if anyone is up for it.

When an arranged meet happens you will find police everywhere.!

Dude me and my mates always used to bust down there, don't need to organise it if there's only 3/4 of us. Perhaps 20 or more would be a different story but yeah it would just be a casual trip :thumb2

They have open house evenings, where any vehicle can attend.

There is another place that is more to the West, it's a called the H cafe and is in Berinsfield Oxfordshire, on the A4074. It has a good size car park and the owners are into vehicle meets, there are a lot of bikers who meet there. We used to go there with our Mini.
