Hi guys, got a problem with the old r reg terrano.

It started just before it failed mot, on poor front brakes. Took it to local garage and he stripped down the front brakes and freed off one of the sliders as well as replacing the pads. This fixed the ABS issue too.

Since then it's come back, the ABS kicking in even when not pressing the brake pedal. It tends to be when the wheel is turned slightly or a lot to the right and also taking up the drive and letting off the gas eases the ABS.

I've had a NS sensor go before which was the wires but when the wires broke the light came on and it went into safe mode.

At the moment theres no light coming on and it's not going into safe mode so just continues to hiss and grind.

Had it in at a local garage today and he's checked front brakes which seem fine. He hadn't got a diagnostic machine to fit the old consult socket so couldn't check for any faults that have been logged.
