ABS / Wheel sensor: Where?

Hi, I need to get a front drivers side abs sensor for my 2003 T2. Nissan want £160. Local breakers will only sell with the stub (?) and want £100 but won't warranty it. Milners don't do them. Anyone know where else to try before giving my limbs to Nissan?

some one said on here a while a go, when they stop working, its not always the sensor, but the wires.

theyd cut the wire off and solders some new wire in. save the £160 :clap

just in idea befor you go to nissan, after all if it dont work now, whats there to lose.. a few mins and a bit of wire..

many thanks. Have given it a try. But I fear two limbs will soon need to be removed and DHL'd to Nissan. ;-)
