Might sound like a silly question, but do our Terrano 2/Mavericks have traction control?

yeh no traction control but some have abs and some don't, nissan and ford didn't consider traction control necessary as the Maveranno never loses traction :bow

Yeah the earlier and basic model terranos didn't have abs and I personally feel after having hassles on my old truck it was far more trouble than it was worth. I know I'm gonna get shot down as abs is a safety feature.

Thought some Terrano's had ABS coupled with EBD Electronic brakeforce distribution. The user manual I have suggests it does :nenau

If your Mav is 96-98 then yes, (earlier models probably not) & probably the load sensing valve at the rear which should do its bit. When I did the copper pipes front to back my valve was rusted solid so I removed it completely. Breaks work much better now although I have not driven with a heavy load since.
