ABS Sensor

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know where i can get a ABS rear sensor? they cost £356 new from nissan

what year? do a search for abs sensors on this site it will tell you how to repair them as the earlier ones are no longer availible

1999 and its the off side rear sensor

HOW MUCH! good job its only the one faulty or be cheaper to buy new truck! what else to these fit cant be unique to mavs/terras surely

but i think they are nation wide,check the web site.
i have just paid £53 for a front sensor (Bosch)

Its very unusal for a rear one to go but at least they are stil availible unlike the front ones yours is just on the change over date if you have the ones in the thick rubber tubing on the fronts you have the older ones if its just a thin black cable you have the later ones.

Today i alos discovered that my rear ABS sensor is fine but the connection pipe between the two has been attacked by what looks like maybe foxes so all i need to do is replace the pipe that links them, horay much cheaper than the sensor. : :smile:
