Trying to get the ABS sensor off the knuckle, any advice ? Undid the two bolts holding it to the knuckle, but it didn't come straight off so I had a look in the manual. There's mercury switches and stuff in there, so I don't really want to resort to the one handed high impact multi function adjusting tool.

ABS Sensor isn't a mercury switch and I don't think the evironmental people would of let them design mercury switches in to that part of th emotor surely. From my experience it'll be corroded in and best advice I got was to smash it out but I managed to fix the wires.

It's the G sensor that has a mercury switch (according to the manual anyway).

Guess I'll just have to keep going at the sensor gently until it's freed up.

If you get no luck PM eBoy, he doesn't come on that often but he works in a Ford garage that has done Mavericks (he owns a T2) and can probably offer some advice.
