Thanks again Andy, just thought others may be interested, may be if we get enough together we can set up a small club stand advertising the club?

Although it is manely landrovers it is open to any model.

i reckon we should sort out a stand get the trailer down there and maybe marquee or couple of gazebos small tv with a dvd or two of club outing etc

but we need more members to comitt to the weekend

i will be up for it better check my personal diary

eh stacey are we free that weekend?

Im up for it but we should have some shinys there as well as a few mods if pos, I am hoping to do some of the off roading whilst there, I agree the trailer and videos would be a good idea.

What do you think Mav?

i have asked the question about putting a stand and camping this is the answer i received

if we are going to do it then i suggest we are quick about it will need a minimum of 6-10 vehicles both shiny and a bit un shiney

its our chance to make a name for the club could even challange other makes to an off road challange??

we would love to see your club at our show Our website address is www.abingdon4x4festival.com please have a look as all the information you require is there.

camping is available, no electric sorry!
you can camp as a club all together all we ask is that your first member on site inform our camping manager with your requirements.

you can have a club stand free of charge, just let us know if you want one.

we don't issue free passes to clubs as our clubs appreciate that we organise this event for charity and all revenue goes to our charities

if you need to know more then please don't hesitate to call one of the contacts on the website

Hello Tel,

Depends on the interest really.

We did the longest 4x4 procession with the Land rover 4x4 weekend at Towcester last year and we got 2 members stopping overnight camping and 4 more on a day visit.

I have booked the day of work just in case.

Guys and Gals

This would be one of the best opertunitys we could get to to show off our club and to be at one of the largest 4x4 events of the year (so I am lead to beleive).

I apretiate that a lot of people from the more northen regions would not make the Journey but from Derby down and south up should not have to many dificulties.

I traveled from Heathrow to Derby in under 3 hrs to attend a day out, this would be a two day event so at least you would not need to rush back.

Mav/Robobone
Could we nominate some one to be a central point for PM's to get an idea of how many are interested.

I hope this is a fun event that we can show a large attendance.

Many Thanks
Tel

Thats 3, all we need now is another 200 :p
20 will suit me

camping is £25.00 for the wekend and £55.00 if you want to off road as well

both prices include entry.

day visit £25.00 per day

Tony

I think that should be £25 for both nights camping OR £55 for camping and the event.

Hi all,

Count me and the old man in, just printed the booking form off, so will be there for the full weekend camping. Been for the last two years, both were brillant events and all for charity - cant be bad.

Excellent Mike, unfortunatly due to the response it is unlikely that it will be a club event but still be good to see you there.

judging by weather in that neck woods should be plenty mud to play in!

Its a shame at the lack of response, as it is a really good weekend. We will all just have to all meet up when were there, if anyones interested.

I have emailed them to find out if caravans and dogs are allowed and if they are I might go as it looks interesting.
