My wife just asked me a question well it was more of a statement.

“We are going to supermarket after dropping daughter off at work” although I soon realised it wasn’t an open question but more of a statement as there wasn’t really an answer that would safely say no I would like to stay at home this morning. :doh

Hayho off to drive in the fresh snow:thumbs

I think if you say that statement with a suitable voice inflexion with the Australian up-flex at the end then it is a closed question. IMHO

just don't question the question, be it an open question or a closed question and you will be safe. I always find that's the safest option when the boss speaks.

That mate is a command , no question about it. :lol
An open question is one that invites a long answer.
A closed question however is what you want. For example, yes dear, no dear :bow

Rhetorical question.....:nenau

However, when it comes to SWMBO......anything goes......:bow :doh

So another question or statement, so I’m now going to crufts at the nec:doh

Just been looking on their website apparently so it would seem not just do we pay for our tickets but the NEC also charges £12 to blinking park! WTF really, robbing brummie iligitimate people that run the NEC.

No way would I be paying £12 for parking, there must be a way round that? Rick

Stop moaning man :p

Well lads I reckon 12 quid parking has to be worth a trip the show at end of April, what do you guys reckon?

I always think how much would it cost/hassle to park somewhere else, if it costs £7 else where it has only cost £5 extra. Then I think is the £5 really worth the hassle, if it is hassle to park elsewhere. I would rather buy one less Chocolate bar/coffee a week for a couple of weeks and cover it that way.

Also, I thought Crufts was this weekend :nenau

I'm just back from NEC . Went to kitchen ex next door to crafts. Free entry to registered trade. Also free exit from car park ☺
