I like lots, after denting more panels and sills today, will have to seriously look at constructing something similar, work eased off now so may get time next year, Rick
 
Cheers lads forgot to mention iv'e also painted the cab again as the paint i used the first time was shit and scraped off so i bought some protecta kote paint which is an anti slip paint for steps and load liners and stuff like that ,it sticks like shit to a blanket the paints that rough you can strike a match on it i love it
 
The problem with rough paint, is that it will increase the air drag.
This is particularly noticable at speeds in excess of 120 mph.
This could also affect your fuel economy.:doh

Well I bet you wished you used a smoother paint now...

The paint sounds similar to anti slip boat deck paint, but that has fine cork particles embedded in it, although, some just add sand.

It's looking great now, I like others are looking forward to reports from your first off road outing.
