Just what are you intending to do with this thing to warrant all that? Rick

I am not an engineer but it would seem to me if the car rolled extreme twist would be applied to the chassis where the cage connects.
I would have thought the diagonals would have been better connecting directly to the chassis,

I was thinking the same, the weak link where it will bend is at the section below the bracing and at the chassis.
But It's not finished yet...:augie

Earnie... and he drives the fastest milk float in the west..:lol:lol:lol

Hi,what a lot of question's, chill out boy's this is my first time had a look at a lot of roll cages before i started and believe me this is a lot stronger than most ,reason why i dint put the diagonals straight to the chassis is cos from day one i wanted this roll cage to be unboltable in case i twist the chassis i can change it onto a standered terrano chassis ,also where it meets the chassis it's on 6mm spreader plates on either side which is going no where basically the roll cage is to save your life not your vehicle if i did do an extreme tumble down a hill side i would want something to give a little so my internal organs dont take it all and shoot out my arse and if i had to do it again what iv'e learned now from the people iv'e talked to i would go down in wall size as this is 4mm and since learnt most cages are 2.8 to 3.5mm, cheers

Very good for a first try.

It's not finished is it? You putting some struts from the tops to the back of the chassis?
