A few snaps of Marvin

Me and the Mrs went for a drive to Worcester yesterday to visit a National Trust site called Tithe Barn located in Middle Littleton

I managed to snap a few shots of Marvin in front of the barn

As you can see the Linseed Oil/White Spirits is working a treat and the bumpers seem to be absorbing it and storing it!!!

I'm applying less and less now and they are staying shiny, better than the heatgun method or the peanut butter method by far!!!!

I'd love to thank whoever it was who told me to use Linseed Oil but I can't for the life of me remember who it was, so if it was you, Thank You

Cheers mate, you can't see my laquer peel roof from those which is really annoying me and I'm going to get it resprayed soon hopefully

Makes me want to luz a snork on my shorty now and keep hold of it. Then I remember trying to sqeeze three on the rear bench - it dont work! Off to see a LWB in maroon tonight....

I don't have that problem as I don't have a rear bench anymore :sly, mines all Vanned out in the back with plywood and genuine Nissan floor levelers

It was built in 1250AD as per the carbon dating, it was used for storing the tithe tax that the parishioners had to pay in return for education etc from the monastaries

You know this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just so everyone knows, 3/4 of the parts on that car are from James' breakers :lol :lol

Basically the black plastics go that horrible white colour, you've got to have seen it, then what people do is think "I'll spray some back to black on it" which makes it shiny white :doh

The heatgun method works well as I documented here;

Only lasts a few days though as in essence all it's doing is bringing the oils that are already in the plastic to the surface which then fade away again in a few days

The smooth peanut butter method also works well as the natural peanut oil soaks into the bumpers but again this only works for slightly longer than the heatgun method.

When I applied the Linseed Oil, I was told to mix a cupful of White Spirits so it wasn't as viscous and would be easier to apply and as you can see from the pics it's worked a treat
