A few holiday snaps

Was a brilliant holiday thanks, had a couple of crap days.on the Monday of this week my rear brake shoe decided It had had enough and the lining decided to break away from the shoe locking up the back end. Luckily I was going slow in tesco carpark not far from the campsite.
I asked for a bit of local help on fb and the guys from mid Wales off road club, got on the case and a new set of shoes was delivered to me on site by lunchtime the following day.:thumb2
Fitted them in the pouring rain.
Then on the Thursday morning my dad got rushed into hospital with a problem with his pancreas.
He is recovering slowly And we are going to see him tomorrow.

All the best for your dad. Mines been in for a health check this week. He's healthy but age is slowing him down.
Hope I don't have any problems with my truck. Haven't got the room to take too many tools. You done well.

I only carry a small tool box but luckily it had everything I needed to change the rear shoes.
Had to improvise a bit and remove two M8 bolts from the trailer hinges to get the drums off but other than that it was a straight forward job.
Thanks for the well wishes for my dad,my mum says he had felt a bit off for a few days leading up to going into hospital. He Is a stubborn git though and refuses to tell people how he really feels.

I think that's how their generation are. They don't have time for illnesses. Too busy. I tell my dad every time i see him to slow down.

Yeah I know what your saying, he is just so used to doing everything for himself.
Just the other week he had a bit of car trouble so he rung me and asked if I had any ideas as to what it could be. I told him to give me an hour and I would go and have a look.
When I got there the car was on axle stands and my dad was underneath it :lol
Just won't be told.
