A bit quiet on here isn't it. Is everyone on holiday?
I got a call to a leaning gable end wall getting read0 y to part company from the house, contacted my scaffold guy to go and shore it up, then got on with my off roader to get ready for next WE at Boxgrove, the very last before they use it as a land fill, discovered water had got into the NSF hub and the inner race is rusted solid onto the stub axle, the drive shaft is busted and the idler stuffed, as well as all the ball joints bad, just as well I have donor motors to rob, but it is all time, then I still have the rear brakes to sort, the winch alternator, the rear winch, (making terrible noises) and yet again the starter is playing up, on top of that the steak house has a blocked drain, (I know it is going to be a dig up job) I did say about it while we were doing the referb but there was not enough time, and as it was only for the Bar basin and coffee machine it did not seem a problem but I have since learnt that coffee grounds harden like concrete, so it has to be a dig up to sort the restriction and it is right at the front of the shop, so on the day I have until 5pm to do the dig repair the pipe and get it all back together, and I am supposed to be retired, happy days, Oh and it is Friday everyone is up the pub etc on a night out cept me, got to be up early to look at a job with some top knobs, Rick
Shame I am not a little closer as I have a drain jetter, works very well & is always worth a try before digging out a drain.
I'm on my jollies in Norfolk
