98 TDI. mini filter?

Anyone know if a 98 tdi will have a mini filter?

My 2000 has 1but its inside the bolt instead of under it like in the down load and another pump I put on had the same filter in the bolt hope that helps.:thumbs

banjo filter

hi didnt think it wud cure my problem but thought id have a look anyway...my 2005 2.7 tdi has a filter built into the banjo bolt,looked clean enough so blasted with cleaner and back in again only takes 10 mins and thats with out removing anything but the bolt

Under the power stering pump, you need to move it out the way first.
Mine is a 97 and did not have one, but someone else may have removed it before i got the truck.

You don't need to move the pump, you just need a 6 inch extension a bendy extension, and a 17mm socket. Mines a 97 and had a filter, which I holed getting it out and leaving it out.

I did not say "Re-move" i said "Move",:doh if you slacken it off you get better access to the banjo bolt :thumbs.
