Hi,
I would like to get my new to me terrano serviced.

According to the service book it was last serviced in Feb 08 at 68,000 miles, 12,000 miles ago.

I would like to use my usual garage who i use when ever my van needs any work doing.
They are a quite a big garage who specialise in commercial work and do commercial MOTs.

Do i need to request anything over and beyond a normal service, check anything specific is included or simply ask for a full service and hand over the keys as i would with my van.

Many Thanks.

well, im no expert, but id say a full service as you would your van, except they as a garage, should know to check ALL fluids including the rear diff (and use correct LSD oil), correct gear box oil etc etc, im sure they will know this, but the grades of oils etc will be different for commercial vehicles such as vans, so id just check with them that they know whats what for your specific vehicle, i know thats obvious but still....:thumbs

the LSD oil is worth mentioning as i know a lot of garages that just put the same oil in every diff and every gearbox! topping up your lsd oil with non lsd would reslut in a pretty odd mixture!
