4x4 Insurance

My Terrano insurance is coming up for renewal soon, who are the best for 4x4 cover?
I have heard , vaguely, about firms that specialize in 4x4 but a search on the web only seems to find sites which either don't work properly or which don't do on-line quotes and I can't be bothered with dozens of phones calls

Adrian Flux and Sure Term spring to mind. I was with NFU until my last renewal when they had really gone up in price so compared the meercat and dropped several hundred quid with Swinton.

If 4x4 insurance is anything like classic insurance, then sadly the only way to get a good deal is to actually phone up. I'm considering specific 4x4 insurance as I'd like a bit of freedom to consider modifications (slippery and expensive slope perhaps!).
