What has always concerned me, is how do you mate up an engine to a gearbox, more especially when they are from different manufacturers.

Not everyone can get a bell housing adaptor for their gearbox to any engine, and also the shaft size will be a different length and no. of splines etc.

Where would you start?

Sounds great guess it might be easier to fit engine and gearbox unit and alter prop dhaft length ?
