30 x 9.50 tyres any bigger than 235/75/15 ? ?

Hi guys just a quick question as the title says really will 30 x 9.50 tyres be any
Bigger than 235/75/15 that I have on there at the moment ? ? I'm after a bigger tyre. Ideally I wanted 31" tyres but just out of my price range at the moment. But set of 30 x 9.50 have come up cheap. Will there be much diff ibetween my oroginal tyres and the 30" tyres size wise ? Any help would be good

Think 235 /75 is about 29 x 9 1/4

so not a great deal of difference.

Well if you need new tyres you won't get the cheeper than that ;O)

If you are buying them for lift all you will get is 1/2 an inch at the diff so not worth it.

31's will only give you 1 inch lift at the diff so still not a great deal.


I stuck with 235/75's but fitted mud tyres and the car still amazes me where it can go ;O)

sure the 235/75 15 grabber at2's had on terrano were also marked 30x9.50x15

perhaps depends how deep tread is.

i dont know because 235/75/15 come in at just over 28" about 28.4 or somthing

i can tell you that 30 950 15 are bigger than 235 75 15 as i have both tyres and 235 75 15 are smaller than 240 70 16 as thats what i had befor and the 30's are larger than them

cant use that mate when looking at 30's 31's etc as it dont have them sizes listed

nope pete its the 30" thats the problem it isnt really a standard size :thumbs

unsure if their is a calculator with these sizes in mind

I beleive my old ones are 235/75/15,I bought some 30" KL71's and they gave me about +1" extra diff lift. The ones I had before were at's.

Better than nowt lift.
