3 ltr oil filter

Just a quick question, anyone know how to remover the cover for the oil filter? thought it would just unscrew but then again knowing nissan.

Yeah, just unscrew it about 1 complete turn and allow the filter oil to drain through the pipe built into the lower part of the filter housing....nice and simple.:thumb2

Just checked the manual
Using a 1/2" extension socket drive, turn the cover 4 turns and allow the body to empty, there is an arrow on the case, this needs to point down, to allow it to drain.
Hope this helps

put some white paint on the arrow, then you will actualy see it next time LOL.
