yes, mainly for comms gear. also useful via the dashboard banana plugs for kettles and heaters in out of the way places

iv'e never had a banana plug in an "out of the way place" what you do in your own time is best kept off these forums!!!!!

Ive got some bosch alternators here from saab 9-5 rated at 130 amp going cheap they must be really good as never sold one yet you would need to change the pulley as they have got those flat multi tooth things on them

Back to my earlier comment, I think you will need either 2 v belts or the flat multi ribbed belt to get this power out. A standard V belt will slip.

the t-max dual battery system links both batteries with thick cable (the whole system is rated to 180a max). Unless you buy a system that can cope with more amps, Or as plank said you could use a manual link.

It is an expensive option, But it does work well.
