I was just wondering if the club will be holding a National Rally in 2014 as there doesn't look as if there has been one for a few years. We are planing a bit of a road trip down to South wales next year prob around June so if there is going to be a meet we could call in on the way there/back & would poss change or trips date to sute the meet:thumb2

How jolly convenient :D
Well dates permitting I'm up for it. :thumbs

I'm guessing some laning is on the cards? :naughty

Some may be up for a laning, If others did not want to potentially damage their vehicles or are inexperienced they could go as passengers.

I've also got access to an old mine spoil location we can use for some playing. some extreme sections but mostly it's very tame.

AND you are in Wales.... what could be better... I'm in...

Could we bring the caravan and stay overnight, to cut down on the driving?

I'd be using it as an opportunity to try out the roof tent :thumbs should have the rack modded and tent fitted by then!

if I come I will either be sleeping on my heated seat. rolling an omnistor awning out on the side of me truck sleeping in a bivvie bag. or glamping at the nearest campsite.

I've got a Maverick and a tent !!!! Sounds like a plan :lol

Might have even built my teardrop by then !!!!

If I can get my old girl back on the road I could be up for this and also would like to make use of our caravan. :thumb2

Just thought I would resurrect this one now we're comfortably into 2014 :D

Are folks still up for this? Figured if we start making arrangements now it gives plenty of notice for folk to make sure they're available and (in my case at least) start saving for the diesel :thumbs

It's gona be ~400 miles each way for me so I'll be camping it, and assuming we go laning :)naughty) I'm very happy to take passengers if others don't want to risk damaging there vehicles.

I can organise a laning/offroading trip for one day. If people still want it in wales.

Possibility of maybe a meetup etc another day at the mine spoil (Not really ideal for letting kids play unattended as there is some dangers). Chat about the cars, also some people could show off some offroading there. Maybe even set up a small time trail section?

Anyway just some ideas.

i will be taking our old beast and family around the battle fields of belgium several times this year
. thank god for headrest dvd screen for the kids

forgot about this thread I was just trying to plan summat meself as I NEED to go wales green laning again.

I was thinking easter time but to be honest it has snowed the last 2 easters and maybe nippy for camping. june maybe better.although I don't mind a cottage:D

I will keep an eye on this thread to see if it coincides with my plans/availability
:thumbs
