2004 Terrano Alarm

When my alarm is triggered, the indicators all flash but there is no horn. I have operated the alarm dashboard switch but this doesn't make a difference.

Is the alarm supposed to activate the vehicle horn or an independant horn and if the latter where is it located?

I am not sure how long the alarm has been like this, only noticed since the new puppy set it off!

Ive a 2005 T2, my alarm flashes indicaters and sounds horn - pretty sure its just the normal horn and nothing seperate.

Switch inside just turns of internal sensors

I take it your horn works when you press it on the steering wheel? :nenau

Yes horn works fine in the normal function.

Mine does the same. Never worked out why though.

Ive a 1999 T2, my lights flash, no horn.
if yours is the same as mine, there alarm horn in inside the boot area back panel,. remover the light cover, and you should be able to feel the horn and its wires,

mine don't work as some one before me broke off one of the wires, but to much work to remove all the paneling to reconnect it, as its broken not just pulled off.

ditto. Mine does the same - must be a fault in the alarm system of these things.

My wifes 99 T2 sets off just one of the twin horns when the alarm goes.

I'm being a bit dippy here Zip but are you sure thats what it is? Under the bonnet where theres an open grille yes, but why stick an alarm horn inside the car???
