Well, due to a change in business circumstances it seems I'm going to be selling my Terrano.
This is one of the best in the country ( the best in my opinion ).
A few months back I fitted a strengthened galvanised chassis, along with new rear springs, all 4 shocks, all front bushings, New clutch, rebuilt steering box, rebuilt front brake calipers, a new sump the list is endless.
When the chassis was removed I clean the bottom of the body, painted it with pro50 and waxoyl. The body and sills are 100 % perfect.
All brake and fuel pipes are new.
The camber and toe is all set, she drives perfectly.
78000 miles, spotless black leather interior, gold exterior.
Everything working, elec mirrors, Sun roof, heated seats multi changer etc.
There is 1 fault which I need to check out, there is a little noise coming from behind the steering wheel and the air bag light has come on. At the same time the horn stopped working, maybe it needs a steering wheel.
I think it is mot'd till Oct.
This is a one of a kind.
I have many many pics of the entire rebuild from start to finish.
The vehicle is in N.Ireland, I can assist with getting it across the water.
If anyone is interested, please PM.

That does sound like a cracker!!!!!!!

Come on lads, someone bring it over :thumb2

Wow, I have competition lol...:thumb2
:lol

The fault you have might just be a weight in the steering wheel, that has come loose, and severed a wire or two.:thumb2

Those who have had the same problem have just removed the weight, with no obvious side effects..:augie

Good luck with the sale.

your fault is probably caused by this lump

many including myself have had to remove it, its some sort of balance weight or damper but is held in by 4 tiny rubber lugs which break, then the offending item starts shorting out contacts, you should check & remove asap.
disconnect battery, remove side covers behind steering, if it is loose you should be able to remove it with narrow nosed pliers :thumb2

took me so long to type rustic beat me to it :lol

but where is a pic of the motor anyway :nenau

Sorry about the pics, if anyone wants To see the rebuild just PM me with an email address and I'll forward them
