2.7 Tdi leak off pipe change.

Any chance of a quick guide on leak off pipe changing on the 2.7 Tdi? :nenau

easy enough take one off at a time and cut to length and refit worst one is the one on the return to the pump fiddly i removed the intercooler it took about 15 to 20 mins in total hope this helps and get a good quailty pipe kit with blanking bung i bought a set of ebay lasted about 6 weeks before leaking due to poor quailty pipes in the end i got some from local motorfactors they were fine :thumb2

Thanks, I can see that it looks all simple, except the fuel pump return. Is there a knack to getting the clips off as a couple seem to snag on the injector bolt/fuel inlet? A couple simply aren't budging.

Drive down one weekend mate and I'll do them for you and order you the 7mm Mikalor hose clamps for the job :sly

Get a 7mm 10 pack and you'll have spares then too as they are very small and fiddly and I've lost 1 or 2 in the past that were lost on the grass underneath :doh

I'm on holiday at the moment and could take advantage of the time, I could pop down any evening or the weekend, otherwise I'll have to look for a weekend where I'm not working but before MOT.

I'm on holiday at the moment and could take advantage of the time, I could pop down any evening or the weekend, otherwise I'll have to look for a weekend where I'm not working but before MOT.

Clips arrived and hose being collected in the morning. :thumbs

Fantastic!!!! My trucks not really very well at the moment, I am expecting IMMINENT gearbox failure. I cannot change from 1st to 2nd or 3rd to 2nd now without getting awful graunching, and 3rd and 5th are very very very noisy now. 3rd also pops out on it's own when you overrun in a gear on the mway etc

4th is still silky smooth so I'm trying to utilise that as much as possible at the moment.

I have to go a fetch truck next Friday from Toshi in London or that direction too

You can come down and I'll fit them mate but I might just have to jump in your truck if you want to hit a few fords and lanes, one of them isn't really advisable without a snorkel either even on the warmest of days :nenau
