Just had our Maverick up from Ipswich to Redditch & back today - a nerve-wracking 350-mile run for me, given its initial hiccups & lack of reliability, back when we bought it!
Having given it a good run to Harlow & back (about 145 miles round-trip) last Saturday & cleared an airlock in the process (and topping-up as req'd), it ran fine, cruising to Redditch at about 65-73mph average, returning nearly 33mpg (did 37mpg Saturday, but I didn't go over 60mph then) - so I'm well-pleased that it's finally settled down...:thumbs
...But anyone got a clue about occasional heart-stopping "hesitations"? The 'tugs' it gives when the hesitations happen, scared me silly enough to suspect dirty fuel (topped-up at Tesco on standard diesel), or maybe a loose connection on the fly-by-wire throttle...
