2.4 tranno fuel filter

hi can any one tell me were the fuel filter is on 2.4 petrol terrano 2 is it the big round black cylinder on the right if so how do you take it apart would you need to bleed it after refitting new filter or just cranck it over till it starts

I mean under the bonnet on right opposite side to batt

it is under the chassis drivers side just to the rear of drivers door, it will be under pressure and fuel will run out full bore once removed, to avoid this remove the out pipe from the filter to let the pressure go then put it back on temporarily, if you do not do this and go to the next step all the crud in the filter will be washed back up the fuel line, then remove the cover on the fuel tank and remove the out pipe, they are marked with arrows on the white plastic, this will stop you from being covered in fuel, then change the filter, and reconnect the out pipe at the tank, it is self bleeding, Rick

fuel tank carbon filter, these days the fumes have to be fed into the intake and be burnt, Rick
