OK, so the 2.4 Terrano runs well if its dry,
But if its dampor raining it runs terrible.

I've tried
plug leads
Dizzy cap
Rotor arm
Coil

But no difference,

Any ideas?

Could it be linked to the hot starting problems I already have ?

Thanks in advance

Where is your coil pack located, up on the bulk head is a good place to put it, Rick

I would move it as far as the wires will allow and see if it makes a difference, also examine it very carefully for any signs of tracking and moisture under the HT lead boot, it could be a sign that it is failing, sadly I do not have one, Rick

I've fitted a new NGK coil.
It has made no difference

OK well damp causing problems hints at electrics, could be you have a damaged wire some place or a poor earth connection, I know it is a pain to search but it is the best advice I can offer at the mo, Rick

Checked all the connectors near the air box.
Tried a second hand MAF
checked some vaccum pipes.

But still driving like a bag of bolts when wet damp raining

Is your maf clean, it should be white on the two elements, if not use a cotton bud gently soaked in petrol or alcohol or similar, also try running with the air cleaner pipe disconnected when damp, Rick
