well I have at last collected the Largo. the whine to me sounds a bit like a bus that gets louder under load, as soon as you drop off the loud peddle the noise goes, I'll try and get a recording of the sound, the Largo itself drives lovely, goes through all the gears nicely on the autobox, nice seating position and very comfortable.
