Hi all,

Despite a very kind offer of help from a member on here I've decided that it's not really financially viable for me to do anything with my MOT failure Terry. I need to source another cheap motor quick for work and with a young family, logistically, the best option is for me to cut my losses and buy a cheap runabout to tide me over.

I know some of you will be disappointed in me and shaking their heads, but I just don't have the know-how, equipment, time, space or finances to do it myself.

So, I'm going to sell it for spares or repairs, but before I advertise it anywhere else I thought I'd see if there was any interest on here first. I'd rather it went to someone on here who'd appreciate it and restore it or use it to feed another one or whatever.

If anyone's interested I can provide photos and more information, but for anyone who didn't see my post yesterday, it's basically got tin-rot and needs welding, the front brakes looking at (application uneven) and a couple of minor things.

I'm realistic and not looking for daft money, don't really know what it's worth to be honest, but I'm sure if anyone on here wanted it they'd be fair with an offer.

It runs nice, the engine's sound, tyres good and it comes with free club stickers, front and back :thumbs

Oh, and it's located in Southampton, but you've probably guessed that!

Sorry to hear that mate. You gotta do what you gotta do. All the best. :thumb2
There's members dan saf who could make good use of it.

Location is bit of a pain but I need an engine it seems. What sort of dollar do want to get rid ?
Cheers pete :thumbs

Hi all,

It's gone now I'm afraid. Bought a 206 estate yesterday (I know, I know) and matey I bought it off part exed it for a very fair price as he's got a mate who's 4x4 mad apparently and has a welder, so he's going to sell it on to him.

I'm happy, at least I know it'll be put back on the road...that makes me absurdly happy.
