Hi,just rejoined the forum.
I just need some clarification on the front shock absorbers on the Terrano.
First of all i have just replaced all the shockers on the Nissan Amera i own and all the new shockers return when depressed.
Should this also apply to the front shockers on the Terrano?,i ask because i have 4 second hand one's that i took off some years ago and they don't do this but are very hard to push in and pull out and i have a feeling the new one's i put on a while ago were also the same.
I'm just curious if this is the case why are they made like that instead of like the others.
Thanks

To be honest I cannot remember if the Terrano has gas shocks or not certainly my Patrol does, whatever if the used ones you have show no sign of oil leakage then give them a go, the gas element makes little difference anyway, Rick

Hi Rick,thanks for your reply.
They do Gas Shockers for the Terrano but i'll give these a go first as there arn't any oil leaks.
I just wondered if these work differently (as in not returning once depressed) due to having torsin bars instead of coil springs.
Cheers
