Of course he was, are you saying I'm not paying attention :freak3:

Well, that would be a first lol...:augie:augie

With any engine upgrade, the weakest link will become apparent, which in our vehicles case, is probably the clutch.
So consider this if going to the extreme.:thumb2

My Powerchip that I've got fitted that I had off Puddle Hoppers Inc causes my Clutch to slip when on the highest setting however looking at all the records that came with the car I think it stands a chance that it's on the original clutch, the motor has done nearly 129,000 miles and is starting to slip when the car is up to temperature, also my bite point seems to be getting lower and lower, I have to almost push the pedal through the floor to change gear, not sure that's related to clutch wear though :nenau

So listen to Uncle Rustic, Alex !!!!

Also aren't you having fuelling issues at the moment mate?

I'd get those totally resolved first before you start trying to get the engine to throw more power out, you're already starving it of Fuel now, also it would be worth letting the guys know doing the re-map that you're running on almost neat veg, I can 100% guarantee that they would not give you any kind of warranty with it given you are using a "non-standard" fuel :augie

Cheers dude, this is old news though, my fuelling issues were due to too neat a veggie in the cold :doh

Also she's only doing about 21mpg so certainly not starving of fuel  :lol

I'm actually running a 50/50 mix now with no issues, me and the missus were just saying how happy she is now. I also flushed it when the fuel warning light was on with a whole bottle of injector cleaner and gave her a thrash to the station :naughty

If your getting a remap you want a tank of pure diesel as veg mix could mess things up whilst they tune it:augie

Huh, didn't think of that, surely not needed with what this chap is doing, just stealing the standard map and replacing it with a beefier map, it's not going on the dyno :thumb2
