Does anyone know if you can get a 12 volt to 24 volt inverter? If so where.

Cheers.

Mark

It depends on how much power you need.
What are you connecting, if only a few amps there are several circuit board versions that require additional components.
Use Ebay and search for " 12V 24V converter " Couple of units from China.
Not sure of the quality so be cautious.

You could go for the Mains inverter option, then step down to 24 Volts, again depends on the current.
Maplin do a 12 Volt input, lap top supply that has a switchable output, not sure if they will give 24 Volts but can deliver 21 Volts at several amps.

I bought an ALDI -Tevion- Notebook travel charger, that takes 12 Volt (car battery) and delivers 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 24 Volts, at 3 Amps output according to the spec, and was only £10 last year.

Hope this helps.
Best regards, Rustic

you could try maplins, or any good CB shop in your area.......... 12 to 24vdc are usually easily available, you just have to remember that power rating is in watts rather than current, ie amps....................
