Thanks for the replys what age did the 3.0 become more reliable. Would it be better to save a bit more and try and get a 3.0? Is there much difference in towing ability? Are winch bumpers available or would I need to fab something myself? Thanks Adam

I currently tow with a td5 disco which is slugish on the hills etc. So looking to replace it with something more powerful / reliable. what are patrols like for rot? I see there is a 4.2 patrol also but think they will probably be out of my price range
