Just changed the switch all back to normal ,just a thought if the car was tested for emissions with it in neutral and then in gear with the clutch on I wonder what the difference would be ?

The fueling may be higher ,I use to have a G Wagen which had a 2.5 td engine in it but we use to have problems getting it through the test with emissions the nissan may be different .

It would because with the switch on the cars emissions would be low as the car will not boost and the ecu will not send the amount of fuel when it boosts ,if the cars switch was on all the time ( when in gear and neutral ) I think the emissions would be a lot higher .

I have not had time to change it yet (work and the like ) but I wonder if this is a bit like the V.W. issue with emissions because when the car is tested its in neutral the car will not boost and fuel will be reduced just a thought .

Hi again been looking on other forums with regards to the rear diff ,it seams that if it has lsd then it can be the fact that the diff oil needs replacing which I have done what came out can only be called sludge ,so I hope that by changing the oil it will make a differance .

Ujs are ok had it jacked up and pulled on the back axle its just passed its test so I thought is there anything in the rear dif ? but no problems when its running your thoughts ?
