Some delightful individual has taken it upon themselves to snap off my radio aerial :nono It's snapped off right at the base and I can't work out how to remove it in order to replace it. Do I have to replace the entire aerial, or just the snapped off rod, and if so...how?!! Thanks!

Thanks Kishada!! I will get out to Livi Autoparts this week and get some oil. The garage I used was EMG Autos in Edinburgh (Saughton). He seems great with bog-standars cars, but less so with 4x4s. What garage do you work at? I'm looking for a new one, pref in West Lothian.

No - I don't think they stripped the brakes down. Mechanic is now being very arsey and saying he's doing things as cheaply as possible, and that's why it probably isn't resolved. Not a lot of point if it isn't actually fixing it!! I'm certainly not aware that he's particularly cheap! :banghead
