ok quick update. fault code 42 fuel temp sensor - was a broken wire in the loom and not a problem with the pump. the needle lift sensor is open circuit so will fit one tomorrow and it should be happy days. will let you know.

going to cheack that today. Just checked the fault codes with the other software as advised and get the following fault codes. Code 42 Fuel temp sensor (perminant Fault) code 34 needle lift sensor (perminant Fault) Code 18 fuel quantity ajuster/position sensor - malfunction (intermitant fault)...
