all ok i think i tightened bearings and there is nolonger play in the wheels. i took it apart as the instructions said and the bearing adjuting nut was so loose i could turn it with my fingers. Thanks ever so much

your a star thanks mate. i have removed the wheel and free wheeling thing which leaves a metal shaft with lined grooves in.this is moving quite a bit.i am not sure now if it is a bearing.what does everyone else think...please help

ideal thanks. just checked wheel bearings ad the back are ok but the front two have some play in i would say a few mill. is it normal to have some play in the front two with the free wheeling hubs?
