Have you tried making the glow plug light come on more than once before turning the key all the way to start? I had a broken plug and when it was cold l used to light up the glow plug three times to start. If you turn on the gp light and don't turn to start you should hear the relay drop out...

If disconnectingthe MAF makes no difference l would suspect that that is faulty, easy to clean, just take out the two screws pull out the sensor and spray the filements with switch cleaner or brake cleaner. I have a spare Hitachi maf you could try if you lived closer. Bri

When l found my boot carpets wet l cured it by brushing Waxol all along the rear door seal. Bri

As I understand it, our British cars 'dip' to the left so driving on tuther side would make them 'dip' into the centre of the road whilst continental cars just dip up and down not moving to right or left so they dont need adjusters. I stand correction. regards bri.

my t2 failed its mot with the rear seats removed as the said the seat belts werent there! I said neither are the seats, but they said I could put them back and they needed to see them. I was also told didnt need emmisions check because it was a seven seater.....with the seats in. I just threw...

could be the fan, normally from cold you can hear the fan running for the first 1/2 mile then it stops, only comming on when towing a caravan over a very large mountain in summer! If it is running all the time it does shift a massive amount of cold air and could keep the engine cool ,very cool...

Ain't the transfer box just duplex chain driven? So you are just lubricating a chain. Thin oil to stop drag in cold weather driving the front prop shaft and bring in the auto hubs as Mr Solar man said. Regards. Bri
