hi there newbee here ,looking at terranos

I seriously like auto, as it allows me to almost forget about the car. Would appreciate a 'proper' diff lock though, and i find it sits a bit low too - muchos $$ to get it raised 30mm.

    Hi all (with problems already!)

For the windows, I'd say replace the fuses first. Mine blew like every time I used the sods. Fitting a 20A fuse fixed that (if I only operate one at a time  ) As for the revving, change the oil, plugs, filters and then have another go. Squeeky speedo cable? Replace. Towbar stuff...

    Advice wanted.

More importantly, see my thread about how to change from 2H to 4H and to 4L. Its not as straight forward as you might think! :doh

Newbie with lots questions, but first is tyres

I agree. 15 inches are the way to go, and you can get some monster tyres. 31x10.5x15s Maxxis Trebadors are the way forward :augie

    My beastly truck!

True, but that'd mean having to set up another website account which I'll just end up forgetting the details to. :nenau Its my old age. Honest. Now as for uber tyres, I think I'm going to get maxxis trebadors.

I swear I'll post pics if someone can help me out :augie And one more question - recommend safari roof racks given my truck has no runners? Not keen drilling holes n shit everywhere as it'll become a mobile swimming pool when it rains.. :naughty

    How to engage 4wd Low?

Sure ok, I'll get some pics up on the weekend. From what I can tell its fairly standard, just with some running boards and bull bars. Not sure if its an after market extra, but the wheel arches seem to be flared, with additional flarey things bolted on too. Allows for BIG wheels :augie Yea...

    How to engage 4wd Low?

Ah sweet, yes there is something on the visor, but alas, like the rest of the damned car, its all in japanese :nenau So just to clarify. Stop -> Gear into 'park' -> 4wd H -> gear into 'neutral' -> push down on lever and 4wd L, et voila?
