    I went to look at a 3.0 terrano yesterday, it was tidy and i was impressed with it, just got to try and justify the £4700 he wants for it. It was an 02 with 60k 3 months warranty, fsh and 12 months mot and serviced, i thought it was a fair price what do you reckon.

    Terrano it is then, which do you reckon is the best bet the 2.7 or 3.0, seems to be a few 3.0 around, are they much heavier on the juice or any other downsides, i dont need the extra pulling power but if theres a bargain 3.0 id be tempted.

Do these have the hi lo box? also are they the same as the terrano or did ford drop the terrano version and create their own as it looks very different. Any comments on them in general...

    Hi, The idle speed adjuster is the only thing that keeps it running, i have to have it idling at 2000rpm just to stop the engine cutting out!

    Just about to do the mini filter on my 95 2.7 mav but it looks a little different to the excellent post that shows you how to do it, does the banjo that the filter sits in have a pipe coming out of it if so i know which one it is and it looks easyish to do without removing the power steering...

    Starting warm or cold its the same so can rule out glow plugs, wheres the mini filter located. Was also wondering about the lift pump, can it be accessed easily.
