I'm flushing the cooling system on my Mistral, and need to locate the drain plug, which I assumed was on the side of the block somewhere. Not the one for the rad, but the one for the engine. Anyone out there help? It does show it in the cd manual, but it's a bit unclear.

Thanks guys Gunner change the stat, flush the radiator, check the pump's not leaking, and take it from there. I have noticed that the fan has cracks on the boss between the blades. I think that will have to be replaced.

Just come back from the south coast via M20 and Wrotham Hill with Mistral 2.7 and towing a caravan of 1500kg plus all the gear. Checked water and oil before I left, and both fine. Got to the top of Wrotham Hill with gauge nearly into the red. Stopped to check, and the water in the resevoir...

Thanks guys. Totally cleaned, and WD'd all connections. Replaced bulbs. Now the n/indicators are working fine, but no joy with the o/side. The front and side are flashing double time, but nothing from the back. I'm getting desperate as we're supposed to be taking the van away next weekend. Waja...
