took the head off to day and one of the pistons is down so must have bent a con rod . Will be a new engine me thinks will price up a con rod and gaskets and see if its worth rebuilding or replace, its a shame was a good engine too. Need to be more careful next time and will be making up a snorkel.

drove about 3 miles home ran perfect but smokey took filter out to drive home thought it could have been steam at first from the exhaust as it was getting dark but seems no. Think its time to get the head off and see what the damage is and will be getting a snorkel fitted for the next time lol.

Hi troops new member here. Got a 94 mavrick 2.7 td 3 dr just standard with off road tyres and not much rust goes well now since i cleaned the mini filter at the fuel pump . Not sure of my plans yet just playing in the mud the now having fun does well for standard. speak soon.
