Hi Does any one no if i can change my zexel pump for a bosch pump as i think my pump is broke its a maverick 2.7tdi 1997 the zexel pump has no throttle cable and i would like to change to a bosch pump with a throttle cable help needed thanks andy

Hi just changed the air flow sensor still no differance. it still only revs to 4000rpm then it starts missing and pumps out white smoke that smells diesel any help i need to tax it and use it cant wait to use it thanks andy.

hi stinka i have changed the fuel lines from tank to filter and the return pipe with rubber hose. i might take the filter out of the banjo and the spring and ball bearing from the return side of the pump and leave that lot out and refit the banjo.

Thanks for the replies I have got a maf coming tuesday. i took off the banjos and there was a filter inside the banjo so i removed that. then i took off the banjo for the return it to had a filter,spring,3 small washers & a ball bearing. i did not remove this filter just cleaned it well. it now...

Hi i have a 1997 maverick 2.7tdi it starts first flick it wont rev over 3000rpm it lacks power it puffs out white smoke and smells of diesel. i have put a new fuel filter housing front to rear fuel pipes dont no any help would be great thanks andy
