    Well I can beat that one, I had a link regarding my MOT at Kwik Fit,(one for the mechanics) I was told breaks were not working, in the end I paid £172 for repair. My advise 'THINK TWICE' before you use them.

    YEP!!!! got the MOT, total bill for their work was £172(that did not include the MOT)paid it just to get it back.To think it was the dam bleed nipple on the top of the axel (you clever sod) lol:bow

    Good news Well, I visited the garage this morning with a print out of all the ideas.Well to my surprise when I turned up they had sorted the problem.It was the bleed niple on top of the rear axel.It was just that they forgot to tell me it was sorted:doh,which is strange when yesterday they said...

    Had the Maverick approx 18 months, never changed the callipers,however, have ordered some today from a member on here(thought best to have a few spares).

    Hi, well yes I agree, on the way to the MOT I tried the brakes and they stoped me on a sixpence,so I am more confused than ever.The mystery continues.:doh

    Right here we go, Maverick failed MOT, they said the servo was not working correctly(spongy brake pedal) they rang today to say the have tried replacing the servo to see if it that was at fault(strange when they said it was when they failed the MOT).They have checked all the brake pipes...
